Good Bye Terrance Newman, You Sucked

Just read on ESPN that cornerback Terrance Newman will be released. Picked fifth overall in the 2003 NFL Draft (the first draft pick Bill Parcells made for the Cowboys), Newman never lived up to expectations. My first memory of him is of Newman getting roasted by Carolina's Steve Smith in the playoffs his rookie season, which is fitting because my last memory of him in a Cowboys uniform will be letting Victor Cruz turn a 5-yard out into an 80-yard touchdown. He might be a solid nickel corner for another squad, but I'm more than happy to see him leave Big D.
