Classic NASCAR Crash of the Week: Las Vegas

Like last week No Credentials had to do some serious digging for a Vegas crash (even more so because there's 300 different YouTube videos of Dan Wheldon's fatal accident there in an Indycar last October), but came up with this little gem from 4 years back. A couple of fun notes before the video.

- This was Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s fifth race for Rick Hendrick. He's going to start in second place on this restart with six laps to go, and promptly spin his tires. Sigh.
- Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon used to run into each other all the time, with their most memorable incident happening at Bristol in 2006. That was when Jeff acted like a tough guy and shoved Kenseth on pit road after Matt spun him out with a couple of laps to go.
- Gordon manages to find one of the few spots left on the track that didn't have a soft wall installed.
